PREP at NECP

Our PREP values guide how students learn, interact with others, and contribute to our school community. Students are taught what Pride, Responsibility, Excellence, and Perseverance look like in classrooms and throughout the school.

Staff reinforce PREP throughout the school day by teaching expectations, recognizing students when they demonstrate our values, and helping students reflect on their choices.

Recognizing PREP

Students earn positive recognition when they demonstrate PREP values throughout the school day. Teachers and staff look for opportunities to recognize students who make responsible choices, work hard, show perseverance, and contribute positively to our community.

Students may also be recognized through classroom celebrations, schoolwide recognition, and special incentives throughout the year.

Building Our Community

Each week, students come together for Community Meetings to strengthen our school community and celebrate what it means to be an NECP Eagle. Meetings include recognition of students, a focus on PREP values, and opportunities to build connection and belonging.
